Hurricane Florence has forced many life changes for many people. In fact, it has caused many churches much heart ache in seeing their beautiful sanctuaries damaged by the flood waters. Although the hurricane or floods haven’t hurt our church in any way, it they did force us to do something new in our life. Over the last several weeks the school we have met in was closed by the district for various reasons due to Florence and the flooding. We circumvented this opportunity my meeting in our home. In doing this, we evaluated our worship and fellowship. Our core group really enjoyed this “home-church” time together. Many expressed the intimate aspect of our worship and the fellowship meal that followed. Therefore, we decided that we will continue meeting here in our home, at least indefinitely. If we outgrow the space, or feel it necessary to meet somewhere else, we will decide what to do at that point. In the meantime, we would love for you to worship with us Sunday Mornings at 10:30 am. Oh, and plan to eat with us afterwards.
